We all get anxious sometimes. If
we didn’t, we’d be dead, or at the least, not
very successful. Some of us get too anxious.
Some of us get anxious too often. Or even worse,
we get too anxious, too often. This website is
designed to give you important information about
anxiety: What it is, and what you can do about
it. There is information about anxiety disorders
and how they are best treated. There are links
to organizations that have additional
information about anxiety problems. There are
links to organizations that can help you find
help wherever you live. And there is information
about what I do to help people with anxiety
problems. I hope you will find it helpful. And I
hope you will learn to live by the words of
Franklin D. Roosevelt – “All we have to fear is
fear itself.” |

Hi, I’m Dr. Joseph Brown. But I
prefer to be called Joe. If you feel you have to
call me Dr. something, Dr. Joe would be
fine.
I am a cognitive behavioral
psychologist who specializes in helping people
with anxiety problems. I work with people of all
ages who are having trouble with anxiety, panic
attacks, phobias, social anxiety, and
especially, obsessive compulsive
